Patty Curran joined the Development Office/Terrapin Club in August of 2005 as the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director, but has been part of the University of Maryland since 1981. She serves as a staff assistant to the Terrapin Club Board of Directors, coordinating many aspects of the monthly meetings, as well as coordinating and assisting with the many events hosted by the Terrapin Club and Development office. Her responsibilities also include customer service and administrative support to the Development office and the Terrapin Club.
A native to Maryland and to the College Park area, Patty is married to Timm Curran, also a Maryland/College Park native. As loyal Terps fans, she and her husband are raising two daughters, Mary Catherine, soon to be a University of Maryland alum and Heather, who is looking forward to attending the University of Maryland in the future.
