We want to thank all Terrapin Club members and Terp fans who attended a Terps on Tour event this May. We were fortunate enough to see more than 1,000 supporters along the 7 stops of the Tour. Our staff and coaches truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to see you on campus again in the Fall.
As a part of Terps on Tour, we entered the names of all non-members who joined the Terrapin Club, as well as current members who upgraded their membership, into a drawing for an All-Access Football package. In this package, the winner and a guest select the game of their choice to watch the Maryland Football Team from the sidelines of Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium in 2009. Along with this, they also receive two post-game passes to see Coach Friedgen at the press conference and will each receive a Maryland gift bag.
We are pleased to announce that Kevin Setzer, a new Terrapin Club member that joined at Terps on Tour – Annapolis, is the winner of this grand prize.
We are truly grateful to all new and upgraded members who took part in this drawing. We had a blast at each of the 7 stops of Terps on Tour and look forward to coming to your cities again next year!
Maryland Athletics Looks to Make History
The Athletic Department has launched the Fear the Turtle II Campaign to raise money for six programs that traditionally have not been fully funded for scholarships. The six programs are Baseball, Men’s Golf, Men’s Swimming and Diving, Men’s Tennis, Men’s Track & Field and Wrestling. (more…)
